AmyWorks has done work for us at our current home at at our rental home. Their work is consistently awesome! Their knowledge is extensive. Awesome! I needed a faucet and supply lines replaced and some drywall finished in a room that I'd gutted and lost the steam to finish. I'd done the bathroom myself, spent hours, and all said and done it looks like a 5 year old did it with playdough. We are very happy that we contacted AmyWorks to replace a exterior door. We had purchased the door and had to bring in our old door to be matched but since it was an exterior door, we felt more comfortable with someone doing the work here. Although I ended up booking work through a plumber because of the annoying way my house was built I still feel inclined to write up a review based on my positive experience with AmyWorks. From the moment I called up and spoke to their front desk who were very pleasant, to the ease of scheduling an appt, and most importantly to Amy who is kind and helpful - I've had a great experience. Amy is awesome. They came by this morning to diagnose our kitchen sink faucet, which had annoyingly stopped actually producing hot water. I thought we might have to replumb or something, but they fixed it quickly. They also assessed a leak in our bathroom by pulling the toilet and replacing the wax ring (and added a couple of extras to account for some less than perfect tile work previously done by some crappy contractor.)Finally, they reinstalled the ducting for our bathroom fan which had become disconnected in our attic space. I've hired four similar services since moving to West Seattle and AmyWorks is the best. Certainly not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. For the money invested, an excellent value. On separate occasions, we had Amy and crew remove and replace rotten deck boards (their lines are laser sharp and they drills them by hand). They also replaced our sagging front stairs, assembled and cemented a new security mailbox and did some general to do list items.
