I found AmyWorks after a really bad experience with another contractor. Not only were they able to swoop in and save the day, their expansive knowledge and skill-set continued to amaze me. All in all they repaired and replaced portions of my hardwood floors, finished a tricky drywall project involving coved ceilings, finished a large tiling project, cut a countertop, installed a sink and fixed the plumbing. I was too lazy to re-caulk my own bathtub, so I e-mailed AmyWorks and they got back to me ASAP. The office manager was totally upfront and professional, and explained their rates clearly, without any fussing around. They sent someone within 2 days, and they came right on time. The crew did a great job with the caulking and also gave me a mini-lesson on what I should know if I want to do it myself next time. Called AmyWorks about a laundry list of items that needed fixing in my townhome, including electrical items. They were on time, professional and their work was outstanding. Because I like learning how to fix things in my home, they also took the time to teach me and show me how things worked and why they were broken, which I greatly appreciated. I don't know when I've been so happy to part with $210. I saw Amy's staff across the street working on some projects for a neighboring house. She had been a foreman for Habitat for Humanity.
